Horyaal Business Group (HBG) was initially incorporated as Personal Computers and Printing Centre in Somaliland in 2001, with its first retail outlet established in Hargeisa dealing in desktops, laptops, computer accessories, and printers, photocopy machines, and digital cameras.
The company also provided IT training packages and printing services targeting government, aid agency staffers, and the general public.
In 2016, the company changed its name to the Horyaal Business Group and expanded its product and service portfolio to include supply chain management and point-to-point logistics.
Horyaal Business Group (HBG) has evolved into a well-coordinated commercial enterprise with four key departments functioning as a whole with each department (supply chain, logistics, ICT) providing expertise/manpower towards the operations and support department. An executive management team (Board of Directors, Managing Director, Department Heads) provides oversight for operations, strategy, and governance.
