HBG Supply chain management (SCM) manages the flow of procured items and products under the HBG stable. We take care of product sourcing, quality control, packaging, logistics, distribution, and delivery. SCM services are classified under three categories:
1) Contractual Procurement Services
Under this category falls products sourced, and procured under contractual terms, primarily for aid and humanitarian agencies. Products include Non Food Items, Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Foods & Ready-to-Use Supplementary Foods.
2) Agency Distribution Services
Under this category falls products and brands for which HBG has territorial distribution rights in Somalia, Somaliland, and Ethiopia.
3) Distribution and Wholesale Services
Under this category are fast-moving consumer goods that HBG imports and distributes. Products include food-based FMCG, school/office stationery, and learner materials.
